Last weekend, the Concours of Elegance returned to the shores of Lake Tegernsee — and for the second time, Schaltkulisse took part. This year, we had the pleasure of joining as the official tour partner, opening the event with a welcoming brunch at our Munich showroom.
On Monday morning, our showroom hosted the tour’s official start with a relaxed brunch. Our long-standing partner TURM Kaffee was once again on site, serving excellent coffee to our guests. A refined selection of catering, ice cream, and drinks created an inviting atmosphere before the tour set off. From Munich, the route led participants through some of Bavaria’s most iconic destinations — Tegernsee, Chiemsee, Neuschwanstein Castle, and other scenic spots that delighted all involved. Schaltkulisse accompanied the tour throughout, with specialists from Schaltkulisse Engineering providing technical support and resolving occasional issues with the historic vehicles quickly and competently.
A private fashion show with The Modelinstitute and Sportalm added a touch of variety to the event.
The event at Tegernsee
By Friday, the main event started at Gut Kaltenbrunn at the Tegernsee. Despite occasional rain, our team set up a compact showroom within our tent in the outdoor area, carefully designed to reflect the look and feel of our Munich showroom. Among the highlights on display were the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, a Maserati MC12, a red Ferrari 575 Superamerica, a black-on-black Testarossa, a Maserati Ghibli Spyder 4.7, a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Plexi, and the Delahaye 175 S Coach from 1950. Many visitors explored the event grounds, showing great interest in the cars on display. Personally invited clients from the Schaltkulisse VIP circle were welcomed into our private hospitality lounge, where they enjoyed fine catering by Feinkost Käfer. In addition to the automotive highlights, the weekend offered an experience far beyond cars. At our private hospitality area, DJ Funshine provided the perfect musical backdrop, while guests enjoyed playful entertainment at the roulette and blackjack tables hosted by our partner Spielbanken Bad Wiessee. As in previous years, proceeds were donated to the Tabaluga Children’s Foundation. A standout moment was the Bavarian-themed fashion show by traditional label Sportalm, directed by Juliane Braun and her Modelinstitute. Many of the models, previously trained through her workshops and individual coachings, showcased their talents in a runway show that brought style and elegance to the fore — even the persistent rain couldn’t affect the enthusiasm or charm of the moment. The Concours of Elegance once again lived up to its name — uniting automotive heritage, refined lifestyle, and a committed community in one weekend to remember. We are grateful to have been part of this journey and look forward to continuing the tradition in the years to come.
