Nine people.
Munich, Miami, and the engineering bench. The names behind every car, every visit, every turn of the wrench.
The showroom and the front office.

Kevin Braun
Founder & CEO · Munich
Founded Schaltkulisse in 2010 after a spell at Ferrari Financial Services. Fluent in German and English, with a particular eye for 1960s Ferraris; the cars on the floor are there because he chose them.

Paul Darvill
COO · Munich
Came up through RM Sotheby’s London and Bonhams, where he ran the European motoring division. Splits his time between Paris and Munich; bilingual English and French, with a weakness for Ferrari and Aston Martin.

Juliane Braun
Head of Marketing · Munich
With the house since day one. Runs the events — the Miami opening, the Schaltkulisse Golf tournament — and the brand. Studied intercultural management; speaks four languages.

Sylvia Weiß
Assistant to the Management · Munich
Joined the back office in 2014 and quietly keeps the machine running — not least the German paperwork. Always quick to answer, even mid-terrace-build at home.

Michelle Eicher
Media Design & Branding · Munich
Joined the Munich office in 2021. Designs the invitations, yearbooks, brochures, exposés and newsletters, and helps run the events. Paints and dances ballet on the side.
The American chapter.

Hugh Angle
CEO, North America · Miami
Began at Sotheby’s London, then raced across Europe before building collections in the United States. Runs the Miami showroom, specialising in classic and modern sports and GT cars.
The workshop.

James Melinz
Transportation & Logistics · Engineering
A fixture for as long as anyone can remember — old-school Bavarian, exceptionally reliable, will move a car safely across the continent overnight. Races a Porsche 911 RSR tribute once driven by Stefan Bellof.

Sebastian Thomßen
Head of Workshop · Engineering
Master technician, trained in automotive mechatronics and seasoned at the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Centre in Essen. Lives for 1950s–70s motorsport machinery; follows the Mille Miglia each year in his Fiat convertible.

Fabian Wilhelm
Technician · Engineering
From motocross at five to fifteen years in motorsport, then automotive mechatronics. Sharpened his classic-Porsche expertise at Porsche Roitmayer before joining the workshop. Preps his own track car for the Nürburgring and Salzburgring.
