About this car

296 GTB

One owner from new, German delivery, Equipped with the desirable Carbon Bucket seats with Daytona inserts, VAT-qualified example

The Ferrari 296 GTB is a mid-engine, two-seat sports car introduced in 2021, marking Ferrari’s return to a V6 engine for a road-going model. It features a plug-in hybrid powertrain that blends traditional combustion performance with electric assistance. At its core is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with a 120-degree bank angle. The engine produces 663 horsepower, while an electric motor integrated between the engine and transmission contributes an additional 167 horsepower, for a combined output of 830 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing for quick gear changes and seamless integration of the hybrid system. A compact lithium-ion battery enables short-distance electric driving, making it possible to operate the car in near silence at lower speeds. Several driving modes adjust how the engine, electric motor, and battery interact, ranging from electric-only operation to performance-focused hybrid settings. The 296 GTB is built on an aluminum spaceframe chassis designed to balance rigidity and weight. Its bodywork is shaped with a strong focus on aerodynamics, incorporating features such as an active rear spoiler that adapts to speed and driving conditions to manage downforce and airflow. Inside, the cabin reflects Ferrari’s modern design approach, with digital displays replacing most traditional instruments. The driver-focused layout prioritises essential information and controls, while maintaining a compact, purposeful interior suited to a mid-engine sports car. Overall, the 296 GTB combines a compact hybrid powertrain, rear-wheel drive, and advanced aerodynamics, offering a clear view of Ferrari’s direction toward electrification while staying rooted in performance-focused engineering.
